The institutional capacity-building activities of the SUMP for Trabzon continue with the participation of the relevant unit representatives of the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality:
- On 12 December 2023, a “Fundamental Principles of Transport Planning – Theoretical Framework Training” was held.
- On 19–20 December 2023 and 2 February 2024, “Geographic Information Systems Training” sessions were conducted.
- On 26 December 2023, a “Communication Skills Training” was delivered.
- On 1 February 2024, “Geographic Information Systems Training – 2” took place.
- On 30 May 2024, a “Public Transport Training” was organized.
- On 6 June 2024, a “Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan Training” was held.
- On 12 September 2024, a “Transport Modelling Training” was conducted.
- On 13 September 2024, a “Data Collection and Analysis Training” was delivered.
- On 9 October 2024, a “Modelling Software Training” took place.
- On 17 October 2024, an “Intelligent Transport Systems Training” was organized.
- On 25 April 2025, a “Communication and Social Media Training” was held.
- On 15 May 2025, an “Activity-Based Model Training” was conducted.
- On 22 May 2025, a “Non-Motorized Transport Training” was organized.
- On 24 July 2025, a “Finance Training” was delivered.
In addition, on 27 December 2023, a workshop with the Interdepartmental Working Group was organized to emphasize the importance of communication in defining internal duties and responsibilities.
