The sixth Steering Committee Meeting within the scope of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for Trabzon was held on 19.02.2025 at the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, hosted by the Municipality, with the participation of the Directorate of EU Investments, the European Union Delegation to Türkiye representative, and experts from the contractor consortium TYPSA & Boğaziçi Project & KAISER Engineering.

The meeting was hosted by Mr. Gurkan UCUNCU, Secretary General of Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, and was attended on behalf of the Contracting Authority by Ph. D Tijen IGCI, Head of the EU Investments Department; Ms. Sıla YILDIRIM, Contract Manager; and officials from the Ministry.

During the meeting, information was provided on the outputs of the Stakeholder Participation Meeting, which was attended by over 100 stakeholders from various institutions and organizations, where the alternative scenarios and measure packages identified in the SUMP for Trabzon process were put to vote. In addition, assessments were made regarding the technical details of the project and its implementation processes. In the later part of the meeting, the planned and targeted activities for the final stages of the project were discussed, followed by a question-and-answer session.
