The fourth Project Steering Committee Meeting within the scope of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for Trabzon (SUMP for Trabzon) was held on 30 July 2024, hosted by Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality

The meeting was organised with the participation of representatives from the EU Investments Department, the EU Delegation to Türkiye, and experts from the contractor consortium TYPSA, Bogazici Project Engineering Inc., and Kaiser Engineering and Consultancy Inc.

Hosted by Mr. Gurkan UCUNCU, Secretary General of Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, the meeting was attended by Ph. D Tijen IGCI, Head of the EU Investments Department on behalf of the Contracting Authority; Mr. Adem KOC, Contract Manager; and other officials from the Ministry.

An information presentation on the completed and ongoing activities regarding the project’s progress was delivered by Mr. Yucel Erdem DISLI, Local Project Coordinator of the contractor consortium TYPSA, Bogazici Project Engineering Inc., and Kaiser Engineering and Consultancy Inc. The meeting also provided updates on the work plan and activities for the next three months and included the planning of events to be held within the framework of European Mobility Week.
